Not only will our junior golf, squash, and Pickleball programs keep WAC kids active, but they'll also serve as ideal aer-school extracurriculars. Let's start with squash. e WAC of- fers a rare opportunity to learn from one of the sport's best. Squash pro Latasha Khan has multiple national champion- ships and Professional Squash Associ- ation titles to her name and more than two decades of coaching experience. "Squash is great for all ages and is a sport one can play for life," says Latasha, who emphasizes the long-term benefits that sports have on childhood develop- ment. "Physical and mental well-being go hand in hand," she says. "And sports are an excellent way to build your child's concentration and focus—all while having fun!" Speaking of fun, WAC juniors can enjoy the 8th Floor Gym on Wednesdays during our new weekly Aer School at the WAC program. Athletic Programs Manager Darin Barr teaches kids Pickle- ball and basketball basics and facilitates pickup games. "It's a great way for WAC kids to make friends and be active," Darin says.
