APRIL / MAY / JUNE 2021 35 APRIL 07 5th Annual WAC Preview: Seattle International Film Festival The Seattle International Film Festival is an 11-day journey into an eclectic program of more than 90 features and 100 short films and documentaries from over 50 countries. Beth Barrett, SIFF's Director of Programming, returns to the WAC to give us our own virtual sneak peek at some of the films being featured during the 2021 festival, which takes place April 8–18. Learn about this year's nominees and view trailers from select films at this virtual event. As a special treat, you'll receive a voucher redeemable for a complimentary film screening! u Wednesday; 6–7 pm; $15; noncancelable; virtual 14 Pasta, Pretty Please It's time to get your rainbow pasta on with internationally recognized pasta powerhouse Linda Miller Nicholson of Saltyseattle. Linda is a pasta pro and bestselling cookbook author! She'll teach us how to make swirled green and white ricotta gnocchi that are vibrant, delicious, and dyed with all-natural, good-for-you ingredients. You'll create six servings of pasta that you can cook right away or store for later. Get ready for a tasty and fun evening! Join us for a lovely springtime stroll around the City of Lights during this live magical virtual tour led by Veronique Savoye. All About Adventure: June 21–24 Think scavenger hunts, outdoor escapades, wildlife encounters, and maybe even an outing on the water! Sports Galore: July 19–22 Athletic fanatics unite. Artistic Endeavors: August 9–12 Break out your beret and get ready to create.
