Wondering how we got that cover shot? Artist and designer Stephanie
Ward concepted the idea for the WAC's 90th anniversary and teamed
with drone photographer Mike Maniglia, who captured the image. It took
many hands to bring it all together. WAC Engineers Ray Sherman and
Bill Rawe set up the lights on the north tower of the Clubhouse, and
Chief Engineer Bryan Cook oversaw the planning and execution. The
team at the Inn at the WAC coordinated room vacancies. And, of course,
the sky cooperated in a big way. We hope you agree that 90 years later,
the WAC remains an iconic Seattle landmark.
