Membership anniversaries | Youth camps | Grand staircase gallery | WAC foundation | And more 10 WAC Magazine | wac.net A new set of cast medallions will celebrate the passion and dedication of WAC members on their milestone anniversaries. u WAC members celebrating their mile- stone membership anniversaries will soon have a new way of showing their WAC pride. A collection of anniversary medallions displaying the WAC Club- house through the years will be award- ed—one at a time—to members marking their fih, 10th, 20th, 30th, and 40th anniversaries. "e WAC exists because of our members and their devotion to the Club," Vice President Membership & Market- ing Michelle Pinson says. "eir passion Membership anniversaries Youth camps Grand staircase gallery WAC foundation drives a commitment that makes this organization proudly unique and one that is most certainly worthy of recognition." e 10-, 20-, 30- and 40-year medal- lions feature cast representations of the Clubhouse from 1933, 1949, 1959 and 1975, each showing the WAC building during a different phase of its multistage construction. e medallions can be used as a key chain or can be clipped onto gym or work bags as a way to proudly display each recipient's tenure at the WAC. "ere is a lot of history in these walls," Michelle says. "A small group of founding members had a vision 90 years ago that kind of pre-dates this modern definition of wellness—that exercise and fun times, connection and camaraderie are major contributors to feeling and doing your best. WAC members contin- ue to nourish that vision today." Milestone anniversary notifications will start being sent this spring with instruction for how to pick up medal- lions at the Member Services desk on the lobby level.
