Just like that, it's 2020
Happy New Year! It's the start of a significant year in multiple ways. e number itself—2020—
defining perfect vision. Of course, as they say, hindsight is 20/20. In other words, now that we
know that, it's easy to see. Numerical curiosities aside, we are also starting a new decade. For the
WAC, specifically, it's a nice round number that ties in with our own milestone—the Washing-
ton Athletic Club's 90th year.
Put all that together and it's a perfect time to learn from the past and get excited about the future. A time to apply our lessons
learned and have a vision for what can come next. Here at the corner of Sixth and Union, we will celebrate our decorated past
and enthusiastically create the future for the Club and its wonderful members.
New Year's resolutions allow each of us the chance to make the changes we feel are necessary to be what we want to be. is
issue of WAC Magazine ties into the theme. You get to meet and see the value of the WAC's spectacular team of personal train-
ers—experts ready to help you focus on your goals and offer the guidance and motivation needed to reach them.
is issue also highlights the WAC as a wonderful place for weddings, perhaps the ultimate in new beginnings. e WAC is
the perfect all-in-one spot for venue, lodging, catering, and services for the entire party.
And, of course, through the Club's annual Friends & Family event, you can help strengthen your club for years to come. Refer
new members, show them around, and introduce them to our membership team. ere's no better way to start a new year!
Yes, 2020 is here! We can look forward with clear and perfect vision to a year of health and happiness!
