" JANUARY / FEBRUARY 2020 45 A week aer I first called Catering, I was back at the WAC meeting with Senior Catering Sales Man- ager Katie Takahashi. Katie was extremely helpful at every step. She helped us choose our menu, plan the wedding and rehearsal dinner, coordinate vendors, and keep on track with necessary deadlines. Just a few weeks earlier, Erwin had proposed during a birthday trip to New York City. At the time, I had no idea how much work planning a wedding actually was. Katie made everything so much easier. And having the Inn at the WAC and Spa at the WAC right inside the same building was truly ideal. Looking back, it seems like our wedding day arrived even more quickly than my mom's approval of Erwin. Waking up on our wedding morning in the Elliott Bay Suite felt almost surre- al. Aer a quick workout in Coed Fitness, Erwin and I parted ways for the last time before the ceremony.
